Nice Choice! Haven't listened to this in a while. This and the next night are really interesting performances. Not the all-time best shows but I really like the energy. Interesting repeats that don't seem all that redundant. Plus, any show opener of UJB/Playin/UJB is alright by me.

We moved to Colorado in Aug 1998 and rented a garden level apt in Golden. The owner lived above us and considered himself a 'taper' and recorded these two shows. I use quotes here because his tapes were without any doubt the worst quality recordings I have ever heard of any band (though i have some pretty bad Floyd shows...). He of course raved about his collection but these two shows were all I could stand to listen to…

Frankly, being the 15th Anniversary shows, I always thought these would make a good release.

when you get done with your 6-7-80 show grab THIS:

Vids from TDIH Aids benefit 1989:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITZDKrarlSk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rj6nrkJ4-fQ

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXz3ZnqBC9k&;feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOhi9Ca7SjE&;feature=related

you get the point...you can find more vids from this show
if you just poke around. Also, the Blow Away from todays
1989 is very nice, if you're into Brent. (No Micheal
McDonald references please...)

And TDIH 1993 is not shabby at all, if you listen with
your 1993 ears on. Give it a spin if you get a chance. Its
one of the very few 93s I have in my library. Just skip
the Same Thing and Wave to the Wind. At least listen to the Shakedown:

These are just great - Randy Jackson! I had no idea there was video of this show.
